After losing a massive amount of weight, Jacqueline Adan was left with 30 pounds of excess skin. It affected her physically and emotionally—but she didn’t let it stop her from living. One of her most empowering moments came during a trip to Mexico when, for the first time in years, she wore a bathing suit without a cover-up.
When strangers mocked her loose skin, Jacqueline simply smiled and walked into the pool. “I was not the same girl anymore,” she said. Despite occasional moments of insecurity, she reminds herself—and others—that judgment from strangers doesn’t define us. “They don’t know me or how hard I’ve worked,” she shared.
Since then, Jacqueline has undergone four skin removal surgeries (with more to come) and continues sharing her journey online. She’s turned pain into purpose, using her platform to promote body acceptance, confidence, and positivity.
Now embracing a healthy lifestyle, she works out regularly, eats well, and even leads fitness sessions. She and her fiancé Kevin—together since 2013—are looking forward to a future filled with love, health, and planning their dream Disney-themed wedding.
Jacqueline’s story is a powerful reminder: confidence isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up for yourself every day, no matter what others say.
