The Boy Who Appeared from Shadows
As the sun dipped low, I watched in disbelief at the security footage—a barefoot toddler appeared by a black sedan, seemingly led by an unseen hand. One moment, he wasn’t there. The next, he stood alone, crying.
When I approached, he looked up with wide, tired eyes. “He talks in my head. I think about going… and we go,” he said quietly.
His words chilled me. Something felt off—not just lost child off, but something deeper.
Mall security called the police. A crowd gathered, but no one recognized him. No parent came forward. No one claimed to know him.
By the time officers arrived, the boy was calm again, resting against me. We gave our statements, but the footage raised more questions than answers. Even the police looked uneasy.
The boy had appeared like a whisper in the wind—guided by something no one could see. And just like that, the mystery began.
