Florida Teacher Arrested for Sexual Relationship With Student
A 27-year-old Florida teacher, Brooke Anderson, was arrested for allegedly having sex with a student at Riverview High School — including one incident in her classroom before the school day began.
Authorities say the inappropriate relationship began in September 2024 with explicit texts and escalated over the months. Anderson was taken into custody on May 16 and faces three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. She was released on $45,000 bail.
“This teacher betrayed the trust of her student and community,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. Investigators believe there may be more victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
