Tragedy at Belle Isle: 6-Year-Old Autistic Boy Dies After Being Pulled from Water
A family reunion at Belle Isle turned heartbreaking Saturday evening when a 6-year-old autistic boy was found unresponsive in the water near Shelter #2.
According to authorities, the child had been playing in a bounce house with other kids when he wandered off. When relatives noticed he was missing, they immediately began searching and called 911, informing dispatchers that the child was autistic.
Despite rescue efforts, the boy was later pulled from the water and pronounced dead. The family is devastated, and police continue to investigate the incident.
