The world’s heaviest man, who once weighed nearly 600 kg, has lost half his body weight – here’s what he looks like now

At his heaviest, Juan Pedro Franco weighed nearly 600 kg. By 20, he couldn’t walk. By 30, he could barely breathe. Confined to his bed and completely dependent on his mother, Juan’s life had become a prison.

But deep inside, he still had a will to live 💔.

In 2016, his story went public — and caught the attention of top doctors in Mexico. With the help of a full medical team, Juan lost 170 kg just to qualify for life-saving surgery. That was just the beginning.

After a series of procedures and incredible dedication, Juan has now lost over 330 kg.

Today, he walks, breathes, smiles — and inspires ✨. He lives in León, Mexico, makes music, dreams of traveling, and shares his journey to help others battling obesity.
