Heartbreaking news out of British Columbia—authorities have confirmed the deaths of four people following a devastating mudslide near Lillooet.
RCMP and rescue teams recovered the bodies of three men this week—one on Wednesday and two more on Thursday. A fourth man remains missing despite ongoing search efforts.
Earlier in the week, the body of a woman was also found at the scene, marking the first known fatality from the catastrophic flooding and landslides triggered by last weekend’s intense rainfall.
Authorities continue to search the area, as the community mourns this tragic loss.
