Girls visit their father’s grave to show him their new dresses… and find two boxes with their names on them

Before he passed, Paul had one final wish: to see his daughters dressed beautifully on his birthday. “Even if I can’t be there,” he told them gently, “promise me you’ll look stunning.”

On his birthday, Iris (6) and Mariana (8) kept that promise. With their mom, Monique, they visited his grave wearing carefully chosen new dresses—each a tribute to their dad’s favorite colors.

What they didn’t expect were two neatly wrapped boxes placed in front of the tombstone. Each had their name, a heart sticker, and a note:
“To my princess, whom I will never stop loving. —Dad.”

Monique hadn’t left them. The girls opened the boxes to find beautiful shoes—pink for Iris—and heartfelt letters from Paul.

“Some angels here are amazed by your beauty,” he wrote. “I see your dresses from heaven and wanted you to have these shoes too. Stay joyful, playful, and always remember: Daddy loves you and is watching over you.”

Mariana cried for the first time since his passing, while Iris smiled in delight. Monique, overwhelmed by emotion, found a moment of peace.

As the three held hands by Paul’s grave, they felt his presence. Love, they realized, never truly leaves—it simply changes form.
