Hulk HoganDead at 71

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has passed away at age 71. Emergency crews rushed to his Clearwater, Florida home Thursday morning after a reported cardiac arrest. Despite medics performing CPR and transporting him to the hospital, Hogan was pronounced dead at 11:17 AM. Authorities confirmed there was no foul play.

Born Terry Gene Bollea, Hogan became a household name in the 1980s with “Hulkamania,” revolutionizing wrestling and turning it into mainstream entertainment. He later reinvented himself as a villain in the 1990s with the NWO (New World Order), further cementing his place in wrestling history.

A two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Hogan’s legacy was both celebrated and controversial, including a high-profile lawsuit against Gawker. WWE honored him in a statement, calling him “one of pop culture’s most recognizable figures.”

He is survived by his wife, Sky, and leaves behind millions of fans mourning the larger-than-life icon.
