A heartbreaking tragedy has struck the family of Dog the Bounty Hunter. Anthony, the 13-year-old grandson of Dog’s wife Francie, was fatally shot in what authorities are calling an accidental incident.
The shooting occurred on Saturday, July 19, at the Naples, Florida home of Anthony’s father, Gregory Zecca—Francie’s son. According to TMZ, police responded to the scene but did not make any arrests, labeling the event an “isolated incident.”
In a brief statement, Dog and Francie said:
“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible, tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony.”
Greg Zecca, a member of Dog’s bounty hunting team, often appeared in family photos with Anthony and Dog.
